N2848A Infiniimax III+ QuickTip probe head uses an N2849A QuickTip. This is an InfiniiMode probe head, that when used on N7000/1/2/3A InfiniiMax III+ probe amplifiers and N2830/1/2A InfiniiMax III+ probe amplifiers allows you to make differential, common mode, and single ended measurements without having to re-solder the tip leads. The N2848A provides an easy-to-make secure magnetic mechanical connection between probe head and QuickTip. No latch lever is used! This head also can be used in extreme temperature environments such as temperature chambers.
When the N2848A is used with N2800A-series InfiniiMax III probes, only two signal inputs (+,–) work for differential and single-ended measurements.
The N2849A QuickTip is also compatible with the N2851A InfiniiMax II QuickTip probe head. Designed for use with 1130/1/2/4B and 1168/9B probes, the N2851A QuickTip probe head takes advantage of the QuickTip's secure magnetic mechanical connection between the probe head and QuickTip, but is not InfiniiMode compatible..
